Hello All,

I hope you are managing to keep warm as we are on our 2nd delayed school day due to the cold weather.  For those of you from Lancaster, Northumberland, and Richmond counties this blog post will come in handy.

We will be discussing C4 photosynthesis and CAM photosynthesis in class along with the absorbance spectra of chlorophyll.  Be sure to follow the links to the Khan Academy pages to catch up on these topics.

Take a look at the figure below.  Note that plants absorb mostly blue and red light?  What might happen to a plant if we filter out red light, or blue light, or both?
